Are you crazy?

Are you crazy? Do you really want to suffer miserably with poor health and just get by? Pretty bold questions aren’t they?

This week I was privileged enough to have a GREAT conversation with my friend Jered. We were conversing about how sometimes we just want to shake people and say “What is wrong with you? Why won’t you wake up and do what you need to do to take back your health?”

The conversation went something like this, see if you’ve had similar ones with anyone you love and care about, or maybe it’s you and you’ve had the conversation with yourself.

We watch people out living their lives. The eyes are glazed over; they are lethargic and have brain fog. The senses are dulled and are taking so many different meds that it’s hard to keep them all straight.

But, it’s so easy to call the doc up and get an appointment for what ails you and then drive up to the pharmacy window and pop some more pills and you THINK you feel better for a time.

The sad reality is this….you’re not getting better. The even sadder truth is…you may really believe that you are!

Taking meds is not going to heal you. It’s covering up symptoms, not healing them. The sooner you realize that you hold the power within your hands to do something about your situation, the sooner you will be on the road to recovery.

Baby steps is what I talk about often. Most of us won’t or don’t want to dive in head first, although we probably should. We get overwhelmed with the sheer volume of information and what to do with it or how to process it.

Jered used himself, being very vulnerable, (I hope you don’t mind that I share this), he didn’t know the basics of being in a kitchen. Like what it meant to “zest” a piece of fruit or how to “press” garlic.

I believe that many are in the same boat. You want to learn, but haven’t the slightest idea how or where to begin. If you’re really serious about figuring it out, you’ll go research and learn or you’ll ask someone how to do something.

The unfortunate thing is this…often times we don’t want to appear unknowledgeable, so we just don’t say anything.

Do you see why I truly just want to shake you? It’s like standing outside and looking in! I can see all the hurt, the pain, the burning gut, the sadness and I can help.

You have to want it though. Therein lays the BIG problem. Without the desire and tenacity to do the work and take the time it will take to heal, you won’t. You’ll stay stuck right where you’re at and continue to get worse.

While you may talk a big talk about wanting to get better and wanting to have more energy and wanting to lose weight, until you actually are serious about it and make it the first priority in your life, you won’t change a thing.

I’m sorry if this is hitting you between the eyes. Well, I’m really not. You see, I need you to get mad and to have an epiphany. This is your only life. You aren’t like a cat that has 9 lives. You get 1 and what you do with it, is entirely up to you. I just truly hope that you decide to live and live it fully.

If you haven’t figured out yet, I’m a pretty passionate and an opinionated individual. I can get in your face when I need to. I can be the biggest cheerleader a person knows. If you’re facing a crisis in your life, you may need a friend and you may need someone to hold you accountable to staying on track.

I believe in you. I believe you have the power to take back your health and your life. Do you believe it? Leave your comments below OR schedule time to talk with me so you can start living the life you were put on this earth for.

To your health,

PS: Belief….it’s a powerful word. Hope….it’s all you need to start believing and living! Are you ready?

Is your waistline expanding? How bacteria in your gut is linked!

Woman weight loss photo

I very much believe in the mind body spirit connection for the simple reason that everything we do is as a whole. We don’t disconnect the head from the body, although sometimes that would be nice and we don’t disconnect the spirit from the body and the mind.

When we are flowing into our passions and purpose, we find ourselves more at peace and thus less stressed.

With less stress comes weight loss in general. Why? Simple, we aren’t producing an overabundance of stress hormones called cortisol, which has shown to increase belly fat and we aren’t stuffing our faces mindlessly.

My own story with this scenario is that I personally didn’t realize how stressed I really was. Looking back, my dear friends and family will give me the sideways eye look when I say “I didn’t think I was that stressed.” As a result I put on a few extra pounds.

Since my focus has changed, I’ve lowered my stress and I’ve been more mindful of what goes into my mouth, my weight has just dropped off over the last few months, along with feeding my gut flora all the stuff it loves.

It’s really not rocket science. Our gut health plays into this perfectly. There are some very interesting studies taking place that are proving more and more that our “2nd brain” definitely has some play into excess weight. Did you also know that 70-80% of your immune system comes from the health of your gut?

The latest World Health Organization figures show there were more than 1.4 billion adults aged 20 or older who were overweight in 2008.

Of these, 200 million men and nearly 300 million women were obese.

Since these latest numbers are from 2008, we know these have risen, unfortunately.

Of the studies being done, researchers think that changing the type of bacteria found in the gut may be more effective at helping people to shed weight than cutting calories alone.

More and more research does show that your gut bacteria impacts your weight. There are other studies that show that lean people tend to have higher amounts of various healthy bacteria compared to obese people.

There was one particular study from 2011 found that daily intake of a specific form of lactic acid bacteria could help prevent obesity and reduce low-level inflammation.

Babies that are breastfed tend to have lower risk of obesity because of the bacteria mix flourishing in their guts that are found in breast milk. Probiotics also appear beneficial in helping women lose weight after childbirth when taken from the first trimester through breastfeeding.

There are other studies that have shown obese people losing fat by just drinking a probiotic-rich fermented milk beverage for 12 weeks. Probiotics have also been found to benefit metabolic syndrome, which often times goes hand in hand with obesity.

The reason this makes sense is that both are caused by a diet high in sugars, which leads to insulin resistance, fuels the growth of unhealthy bacteria and packs on excess weight.

Our modern diets have left our gut flora very overloaded with bad bacteria and not enough good. We need to “reseed” our gut with a good high-quality probiotic supplement or my favorite way is to eat and drink non-pasteurized traditionally fermented foods like:

  • Fermented veggies/fruits
  • Fermented milk products like kefir
  • Natto, which is fermented soy
  • Kombucha, fermented tea

Of the many reasons these foods are so beneficial, one of them is the fact that they contain lactic acid bacteria, which of course has health benefits over and beyond any weight-loss benefits, including a wide array of other healthy bacteria.

There are many different types and I recommend eating different varieties so as to inject many different bacteria types. This is a huge step in the right direction. You still need pay attention to the rest of your diet, especially if it’s poor. Processed foods as an example will compromise your gut bacteria as it will destroy healthy microflora and feed bad bacteria and yeast.

Other things that affect our microflora are:

  • Antibiotics
  • Chlorinated water
  • Antibacterial soap/wipes
  • Pollution
  • Ag chemicals

Let’s also not forget the meats that you eat. If you’re buying commercial meat, they are loaded with antibiotics, which affect you. My strong recommendation is to reach out to local organic farmers who product grass-fed beef and pastured chickens. They will not be using antibiotics and they are eating a healthy diet.

There are many local CSA (community supported agriculture) groups available. Linking to them will help you find produce and meat that are free from chemicals and antibiotics.

The Weston Price Foundation has chapters all over the world and there are many connections to buying good, clean, healthy food.

When you tend to the health of your gut, your overall health will improve. There is a whole “ecosystem” that has taken up residency inside your gut. The type and kind are important. What you put in determines the overall health of these organisms. They can either prevent or encourage the development of many diseases, including heart disease and diabetes and many help dictate the ease with which you’re able to shed unwanted pounds.

This really needs to be an ongoing process since most of us are exposed daily to factors that will destroy beneficial bacteria in the gut.

Cultured/fermented foods like raw milk, yogurt, kefir, some cheeses and veggies are excellent sources of natural, healthy bacterial.

These foods/drinks need to become a part of your regular diet. If you don’t start here, then please take a high-quality probiotic supplement, especially if you are straying away from a healthy diet and find yourself consuming too much sugar and eating too many grains that haven’t been prepared properly.

If you have to take antibiotics due to an illness, make sure to put in good probiotics into your system right away. The benefit of the antibiotics doesn’t know the good from the bad bacteria, it just seeks and destroys all bacteria. You have to inoculate your gut constantly.

I am “The Gut Lady” not by accident.

Do you have stubborn weight that seems to be your best friend and not go away no matter what you do?

Do you have a love/hate relationship with food or yourself?

In dark room

I hope that the time you spend on this journey we call life is a great one for you. One that’s filled with much joy, love, happiness and most of all peace and acceptance with who you are.

Last week I shared my story of a young girls’ deepest desires to be accepted and loved and most of all to feel valued!

What I’ve learned throughout my life is this….we all need to be cherished, acknowledged, valued and loved. With all of these ingredients, we feel love, accept love and love ourselves.

When these things are missing in some way, we tend to look for ways in which to self-medicate, if you will. Whether that’s in the form of self-destruction through alcohol, drugs, sex, food or the wrong relationships.

What is it for you? Do you find you have a love/hate relationship with food? Or have you been a seeker of love in all the wrong places? Have you gotten to the place where you say enough is enough?

In my many conversations with clients, friends, family, colleagues, the underlying reasons are always the same. We want what we perceive we can’t have. We aren’t being fulfilled in certain areas of our lives.

How do you change this? First of all being willing to admit there is a problem, and then being willing to do the work.

The work comes in the form of creating an intention, a plan of action and doing the work.

Let’s use the example of stress eating. I find that when I’m stressed, I do one of two things, I don’t eat OR I tend to eat all the wrong things. I will find myself raiding the cupboards or refrigerator in search of something, anything, even if I’m not hungry. Do you do this? Have you ever made a run to the store or the drive thru just to satisfy this so-called, “need?”

There are definitely tricks and tips that I can help make you aware before you stuff your face, things like mental and physical triggers.

Last week I also challenged you with Hour of Health. How many took me up on this? In case you missed it, we were agreeing to spending the first hour of your day on something health related for 3 days. Things like…

Preparing a proper breakfast using whole foods

Working out (that means breaking a sweat)

Reading something that will improve your health

Taking action on a goal that you set for yourself to improve your health

So, the big question, how did it go for you? And even bigger, did you keep going past the 3 days that I suggested?

When you can set simple goals for yourself AND achieve them, it certainly sets you up with the confidence to push yourself further and set more goals.

I’ve always talked about taking baby steps in any new endeavor; this ensures that you are more likely to stick with the new habit that you are attempting to form.

So what are you thinking about now? Does any of this resonate with you or with someone you know? Often times, I might not see an immediate problem because I’m too close to it or what about the infamous victim mode.

You know what that is right?

  • I eat because I’m bored and he/she bought it anyway
  • I just drink in the evenings because I need to unwind from my job
  • My spouse/significant other isn’t on board, so I can’t eat healthy most of the time
  • My childhood was horrific, so it’s not my fault that I eat when I’m stressed.

The list could go on and on and on. But I think you get the idea. This is one of those areas that get tricky because often times we don’t know that we’re playing the victim.

When we can learn to identify it, we can be well on our way to recovery.

I will leave you with this….If I touched on a nerve or you identified something that I said in yourself, and you’d like to make a plan to get unstuck and out of your current situation, let’s chat.

Together we can come up with your triggers and an action plan for attacking them every single time they come up. Not only that, but what to do if your partner isn’t very supportive.

What’s one thing you know you need to change, but it just seems like you are climbing a mountain and it’s impossible for you? Leave your comments below.

When are you going to quit lying to yourself?

Sad girl

This week I have talked to quite a few of you all with the same questions…why can’t I stick to my goals….I really want them?

I always make the statement….”we only do what’s important to us.” I then often get the reply, “It is important.” No it isn’t.

It’s about changing habits and habits are hard to change, especially when we “don’t really want to.”

It’s about change period. There’s a saying that goes, “In order for things to change, I must change.”

A primary reason people hire a coach is to change the way they are doing things, including me. That’s why I have a coach.

I need to change certain behaviors; habits and I need accountability to do the things that I might not necessarily do, if left to my own devices.

You see, we are all human. We say we want certain things, but do we really?

If I were to ask you, how badly do you want to reduce your stress, get better sleep, balance your hormones, lose weight, lower your diabetes meds or anything else that might be of interest to you, what would you say?

If your answer is I want it bad, then you have to be willing to do the work. In my last email, I talked about our society wanting the magic pill and we want everything now. Including our health. I’m here to tell you, it takes work.

Nothing in this life is worth having without some skin in the game, which is your hard earned money, your time and your will to take action.

Without those ingredients, you’ll fail every time! It’s the truth. If I hadn’t invested in my coach, I wouldn’t know what I know today, I wouldn’t be the person I am today and I certainly wouldn’t have hit the goals that I had set for myself.

If you hire a coach and continue to do things the same way, you’re wasting your time and money.

I have the ability, the tools, the knowledge, the accountability that you need. You just have to finally want it. You have to be at the place where you say enough is enough. I’m worth it. There is no price you can place on your health.

I propose to you this: I want each of you; that are up for a challenge, to do the following for just 3 days. It’s called the Hour of Health!

I want you to make the 1st hour of everyday a priority for you and your health. What does that mean? Well, anything like:

Preparing a proper breakfast using whole foods

Working out (that means breaking a sweat)

Reading something that will improve your health

Taking action on a goal that you set for yourself to improve your health

You get the idea. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking that what you’re doing is a productive use of this important time, if for example you tell me, well I got up and I walked to Dunkin Donuts and bought some coffee and a small snack (which was healthy) and walked home.

Sorry….that wasn’t productive use of your time. If you don’t walk, then partially ok.

I want you to really plan a healthy breakfast. Make it from whole foods, not a snack, especially if you skip breakfast to begin with.

Fuel up, burn some calories, take quite time to recharge your body, your mind and your spirit. Doing this first thing in the morning will charge your system up like nothing else will.

So are you ready to implement your own Hour of Health?

1. Commit to 1 hour every morning for the next 3 days. I’m taking you into baby steps so it’s manageable and you don’t lose your focus on this.

2. Spend the first hour 100% focused on your health. This means exactly what it says, no skimming Facebook or Twitter, just focus on your health.

3. Set your alarm an hour earlier if you need to in order to make this a priority

4. Keep track of what you accomplish over the next 3 days during your Hour of Health.

By starting your day with these activities that add value to your health, you’ll be amazed at how quickly things can (and will) change. Be completely honest about what you’re doing, no fudging.

If you think that you might not stick to your plan, find a buddy to help hold you accountable. Are you still not sure? Then perhaps you’re not serious about wanting things to change and you’d rather just keep lying to yourself.

Where do you find yourself lying about how serious you are about your health? What needs to change for you?

Comment below or hit the little purple box on the right side that says “Let’s Talk”. Either way, I can’t wait to hear from all of you! See, I’m giving you choices too!

To your health,

Do you feel you are letting yourself down?

I just got off the phone with a woman that realized that she needed to take additional action to heal her leaky gut. By implementing just one of the suggestions I gave her, here’s what she said…

“I can’t believe how much of a difference this actually made. I have more energy and I feel better, in only 3 days”.

I am so super proud of her!!!

What’s also great about this; is she actually followed my advice and the personalized plan that we created just for her. It was a mindset adjustment and a willingness to try something new. And she’s COMMITTED and DOING the work.

How many times have you said to yourself, starting on Monday,  “I’ll start eating better” or “I’ll start exercising again” especially after a round of let downs and expectations that didn’t come to fruition. It seems we are forever beating ourselves up and starting over.

In order to free yourself from checking out of your life and overindulging in others, you must first…

Stop choosing to check out and make a choice to live a new lifestyle!

  1. Become present and AWARE of what is your check out trigger. Ask yourself this, “Even though I’m uncomfortable with my current health status why do I self-sabotage? What is it that I am avoiding or resisting in my life?”  Write it down in a journal and if you don’t have a journal – start one! If you are unclear how to define this feeling that makes you not care in weak moments, this feeling that is keeping you in stuck mode, that keeps you reaching for all the wrong foods – next time, STOP, BREATHE and then ask yourself “what can I do instead of eating junk? What healthy pattern can I put in its place instead?”  Something simple and calorie free…
  2. Acknowledge the emotion when it is triggered and recognize it for what it is – it isn’t really hunger so no need to eat an entire box of cookies or whatever else you might devour unconsciously, right…?
  3. Once you discover what your emotional trigger is – work on healing THIS pain, THIS hurt, or do a pattern interrupt instead (what is a pattern interrupt? I can teach you!). When you heal this problem, chances are you will not feel the urge to try and find comfort in food anymore or whatever you’re seeking out for comfort.
  4. As you are going through this process it really helps to drink a big glass of water, breathe through that 3-5 min craving cycle or go outside for a quick walk. The more you make healthy lifestyle choices the easier it gets!
  5. Most importantly don’t beat yourself up for the choices you have made in the past! Let’s work together, re-commit and let’s move forward together all right? Remember, you are not alone. We will work through this if you let me help you!

Do you want help to discover what your triggers are and have personal support in healing? How about ridding yourself of emotional eating or any other habit that you can’t seem to break? Then click here for help!

I know its June and you are still struggling with your health and the main reason is; you haven’t been willing to make the necessary changes or you have no idea where to begin or whatever you are resisting in your daily life!

Do you want to feel like a million bucks?

DIY Carpet CleanerBONUS: DIY spring cleaning recipe for you. 🙂

Good day….I hope this finds you well. I asked the question….do you want to feel like a million bucks? I bet you answered a resounding YES!!!

Great….because it’s possible. You see, I believe what we believe all starts in our minds. What we think about, who we spend our time with and what we always put our focus or attention on.

This last week I’ve been purging my life of all kinds of junk. Why in the world do I think that I need to keep some of the stuff I do, I’ll never know.

Old habits die hard. I’ve been in some serious spring cleaning mode, which included giving things to my daughter Amber to put in her garage sale, others things are being donated  and yet others will be given to our local trash collector. Poor guy!

It feels good to get rid of the clutter that has slowly been taking over my life and my space, which isn’t all that big to begin with!

Do you ever feel like you’re surrounded by stuff? Old habits, old beliefs, and just plain starting to feel old! I know that this morning before I got out of bed, I was stretching and feeling some soreness in my muscles from all the bending and additional movements from cleaning.

What would happen if we felt like that every single day….having no motivation, no spunk, aches and pains prevented us from enjoying this incredible life we’re supposed to be living?

I think that slow creep is often times what does happen to many of us. Before long, we’re wondering how we ever got things done.

How did we go out and play and live life? Sometimes it seems like only yesterday. Wait, maybe it actually was. The reality is you’re only 30, 40, 50, 60, what, how young am I? Time flies when you’re having fun or am I having fun?

Does any of this sound familiar? If so, know you don’t have to settle for living a life less than it should be. I know the possibility might seem remote, but it actually is out there.

The burning question….how bad do you want good health? Is it worth fighting for? I am a fighter by nature and that does give me an advantage. You too can have that advantage. And you deserve to have it. You just have to want it…..and want it badly!

Have you ever heard that the best things in life aren’t free? Well, I think that’s partially true. I also think that if we had everything given to us and we didn’t have to work for them, we’d not appreciate them nearly as much, if at all.

How many times have you said that you’ll practice being grateful every single day for something and before long, it slips your mind just that one time and then all of a sudden you can’t remember the last time you actually said the words or felt the feelings of gratitude.

It’s the same for our health and what we often times take for granted. We assume we have been given the right to have it all….including feeling like a million bucks.

I’m here to tell you that if you’re not up to par and not feeling well, you can help your body heal….and if you’re feeling okay, but want to be proactive; awesome….we can do this together.

Hopefully, as this point you’ve seen the other two short little videos that I put together for you surrounding this very topic….Here’s the 3rd one in my 3-part series. These were intended to give you food for thought and some things you can do to start the journey of better health.

What do you want to see happen with your health? Leave your comments below or shoot me an email at I can’t wait to chat with you.

To your health,

Heal thyself….how important is this to you?

Yoga and fitness

Have you ever asked yourself what it would feel like to be pain free, have an abundance of energy, be at optimal weight and not have all the stress that comes with not feeling well?

I have and that’s why it’s been on my heart to share the information that I know regarding our amazing body’s ability to heal itself.

When you allow the body to be free of all the “junk” that we are told is good for us by the “food” industry and the “big ag” industry and supply our bodies with good wholesome nutrients, it’s really amazing how the body knows what to do.

It’s not my accident, it’s purely by design. I’ve often thought about an architect and their abilities. They envision what something will look like in their mind and then design the outcome. I believe our bodies were created in much the same way.

Everything is “designed” to work seamlessly together and it doesn’t let us down unless we let it down. Do you understand what I mean by that?

For example: when I eat foods that I don’t normally eat, like commercial potato chips and overly processed foods that are either greasy or sugar laden, I know it. Why? Because my body wasn’t designed to be fed these things and it’s objecting to the fuel source.

Another way to think about this is to think about your car. It has an engine that obviously makes it run, whether it’s fueled by fuels or electricity, it still needs fed. So if you a put in the wrong kind of fuel, it’s not going to perform as you’d like it to.

Yet another way to think about this is the fuel filter in your car. The purpose is to filter out all the dirt and debris that would otherwise stop your engine from functioning. This is kind of like the purpose of your liver. It’s the filter for our bodies.

So, do you see how if we continually feed ourselves bad fuel, that our liver gets overworked, clogged and overtime our bodies can’t do the functions that they were designed to do?

In other words, it rebels against us. Often times it shows up in the form of diabetes, heart disease, cancer, depression, auto-immune diseases, arthritis, etc., etc., etc. Do you get the idea?

So, what are you feeding your body? Is it the proper fuel needed for optimal efficiency or are you feeding it cheap fuel that’s just breaking it down over time?

I know it’s not easy to always eat the right things. I’m not perfect either. I love sweets and pizza and my wine and beer. The key really is moderation AND making better choices.

An example, when I make sweets, I use better choices for sweeteners and really reduce the amount of sweet needed to pull it off and still be satisfying. As for pizza, well, yes I sometimes enjoy my favorite pizza place and I buy organic wine and the beer, it’s just nice on a hot summer night after you’ve worked hard all day.

The idea is to not punish yourself. I would love for you to get to the 80-20 place. What do I mean by this? 80% of the time you’re putting in great fuel, no processed foods, sugars and pops, etc. and foods that actually help your body heal, like bone broth, fermented and cultured foods and consuming sourdough breads instead of white and most wheat, as examples.

The other 20% of the time, leaves you open to the human factor, which is we’re all accustomed to eating fast food, buying packaged foods and when you eat out, the food quality isn’t always top notch.

Do you think that if you had a plan to get you to 80% you’d follow it? What if you were recently diagnosed with a serious illness or disease? Do you think you’d be able to ditch all the “crap” you’ve been putting in and seek out the help you need to allow your body to start healing itself?

If this interests you, I’d love to hear from you, as I have solutions and my kitchen is brimming with healing foods. Use the contact me box on this page and I’ll get back with you soon. Please feel free to share this as well. We’re here together.

I’m in this for you and your health and I have soooo much to share! From my kitchen to yours!

Do You Set Resolutions?

Weighing in

Can you believe it’s almost the end of January? Typically that means that in another week or so, 99% of resolutions set will have gone by the way side. That means that about 1% of resolutions set will have actually stuck and are on their way to forming a new habit or breaking an old one.

For me, I decided to experiment with myself, yet again. One of the things you’ll soon discover about me is this. I like to try new things to see if they actually do what they say. Of course, this does mean it has to resonate with my being. It also has to make logical sense and it has to fit into my lifestyle.

I am like you. We all have to really want something in order to even consider making the changes that are necessary in order to make or break habits.

Research shows us that the old adage of it takes 21 days to make or break a habit isn’t necessarily true. For many things, it takes longer. Like 66 days longer.

I don’t know about you, but I’d rather know that going in. Don’t mess with my head and make me think that I’m a failure just because my new fitness routine didn’t stick after the first 3 weeks.

Actually exercise and weight loss are one of the longer habits to form. If you think about it, we really know it’s one of those habits that need to truly become something we do for a lifetime. So, going in, we just need to keep it exciting, interesting, challenging and above all else; fun!

Let’s face it; if something isn’t fun or we don’t see instant results, we often look at it as a chore. Something that we know we need to do, but often times don’t necessarily want to do or we just kind of add it in and if we have time, great and if not, oh well.

Here comes the slippery slope. Our mind starts playing this reel. See if this rings true for you.

I am going to exercise at least 3 times per week. I know I should do more, but this is better than nothing, right? My butt is sagging, my arms are waving back and my waist, well, let’s just say that I have one over on the baker with my muffin top. I want this body toned up because that come swim suit season, I am not going to put this body into a bathing suit and strut my stuff as it is now.

Hmmm…..about 2 or 3 weeks in, we actually might have done all 3 days per week. Come the fourth week, we start telling ourselves the lie. I’m tired. I didn’t sleep very well, so I’ll just catch some extra zzzz’s. Or, how about, I’m not seeing the results I thought I’d be seeing by now, what’s the use. I haven’t lost any weight.

The list goes on and on and on. Does any of this sound familiar? Perhaps you have your own scenarios that many can and do resonate with. The example above is what many people play through their heads on a daily basis. The body needs continuous exercise, yet many don’t take the time because they aren’t engaged or motivated to do so.

Let’s turn this year around and start by taking small baby steps. Let’s craft a plan that will allow you to establish some fun in your life and at the same time inspire you to adopt the healthy habits that you truly do desire.

Stay tuned, as over the next few articles, we’ll delve into crafting a doable plan for making a lifestyle or life skill plan that you can implement, starting today!

If you’re interested in cooking, gardening, eating (totally me), healing your body, losing weight, getting fit and in general improving your lifestyle, you’ll love it here.

As I mentioned above, I love to eat. Food has become such a stigma for many. We’re told we shouldn’t eat this or that. I’d love to explore the clean, natural state of food, the way it used to be, back when our ancestors were growing up and perhaps many of you.

We truly have the right to grow old gracefully, and that means taking charge of your life, your body, your mind, your spirit and the ability to heal your body. You have total control, you just need to learn how.

Look around, stop back often and provide us with your thoughts and comments. Together we’ll grow together, provide truth and get healthier.
